What to do during the winter. A cold, gloomy, rainy day, tromping through mud and muck, how do we keep our feet warm, dry and yes, equestrian fashion wise? Horses are not for the clean freak mind you, but here at CO we like to match good taste, with a nice tromp in the muck. Fashion meets horses, for real. With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the Wellington Boot!
These boots were designed by the First Duke of Wellington. And has been seen on the feet of royals including the late Lady Diana Spencer who "was photographed in 1980 a pair of green Hunters boots." Apparently boosting sales and keeping the company in oats. And also being endsorsed by some well-known names in fashion such as Chanel and Gucci.
What is to love about this classic staple in boot fashion? These boots are practical; a highly usable form of foot protection that just happens to appeal to the masses. Just as practical as they are, these boots are also nice on the eyes. Clean lined, simple, but detailed.
